To implement the "National Standardization Development Outline", the "Action Plan for High-Quality Development of the Sericulture and Silk Industry (2021-2025)" jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and five other departments, and the Ministry of Commerce's "Guiding Opinions on the Development of the Silk Industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan Period", improve the standardization level of silk, improve the guarantee of green development, and promote the green, low-carbon, sustainable, and high-quality development of China's silk industry, the China Silk Association launched the 2022 Silk Group Standard Plan project solicitation work with document number Zhongsixie [2022] No. 1.

The scope of the silk group standard plan solicitation includes all links in the silk industry chain, including cocoons, reeling, silk, silk products (clothing, home textiles, handicrafts), etc. related basic, method and product standard projects. Key areas for silk group standard plan projects include: (1) Standard projects in key areas with rapid technological innovation speed, such as new processes in the pre- and post-stages of silk production, advanced printing and dyeing technologies, innovative products, green manufacturing, and intelligent weaving, which comply with national industrial guidance directions and quickly respond to industry innovation needs. (2) Standard projects and supporting method standard projects for integrated products that integrate the industrial chain and cross-fields, based on supply-side structural reform and the implementation of the "three products" strategy, to meet the needs of new technologies, new products, and new business models in the industry for standardization. (3) Standard projects that serve the industry's new positioning of "technology, fashion, and green" and meet the industry's needs for innovative management. (4) Standard projects that are currently not yet national standards, industry standards, or planned, and are urgently needed for industry development. Application Procedures for the Silk Group Standard Plan: Various units can submit applications for group standard projects based on their actual needs, fill out the "China Silk Association (CSA) Group Standard Project Proposal" as required, and submit it in electronic form to the secretariat of the China Silk Association (CSA) Group Standardization Technical Committee at the email address: csastandards@126.com. The 2022 Silk Group Standard Plan project will be accepted on a daily basis, reviewed collectively, and issued in batches. After the standard plan project is established, it will be reviewed and submitted for approval within 12 months, in principle.
